Both my pickup and Toyota will need new tires next year.

    Toyota is getting Michelin Defenders

Chevy pickup is between 3. Falken Wildpeaks, General Grabbers, or Firestone Destinations. It currently has Goodyear Wranglers

On my personal vehicle I like nokian tyres which are Finnish but they make them in Tennessee at least for off-road tyres. Or Bridgestone

My Tacoma I had,I put the the wildpeak at3w’s on and loved them. They also offer them in a higher ply if I’m not mistaken, since your chebby is a bigger unit.

My ram has destination mt/2. They are fixing to be replaced with another set. I like the aggressive stance of the mud tire. I just inherited my moms raptor clone that has ko2. They have been good tires so far.

No matter what brand you go with choose a 10 ply tire with a 3 ply sidewall.out of the three I'd go with the falkens.

I only buy 10ply tires for my ram. Keep them at 80psi since i tow alot. My friend cant get 10ply for his 98 chevy. Think he has 6ply and we can push in on the sidewalls with our fingers.

Screenshot_20251017_194251_Gallery.jpg My truck has 265/75/16's, or at least it will have them. Original rims

The General and Firestone are 10 plys. The Falken is a choice between 10 ply and non.

When I bought the truck I didn't really need a 3/4 ton 4x4, but it was available in town at a good price. Plus I'd rather have the capability and not need it than need it and not have it. I guess tires are the same. It might see a trailer once a year, but at some point I might need to tow a heavy trailer. Do again, I'd rather have the load capacity and not need it than need it and not have it

I think there 15in aftermarket rims. He cant find any 10ply and the tire shops told us they dont make 10ply in his size anymore since everyone is going to a larger wheel. I thought that was wierd. FB_IMG_1760749124705.jpg
