The part that truly doesn’t make sense is the original owner who bought it and basically never ran it. I mean who buys a piece of equipment costing that much and the let’s it sit there for 18 years?

    Opendeckin and TheLoadOut Thank this.

Makes perfect sense. He just made a killing on it with it just sitting there. There’s lots of people go buy new vehicles and park them to sell years later for a profit. I just don’t have the money to do it.

It’s a Legacy 379 with a factory 2 stick in it. Pretty unique truck. I’m sure whomever bought it has no plans to actually work it at this point.

My old boss in Montana has two brand new gliders in his yard that have never been licensed that were assembled in 2019/2020.

I just read the article and I find it somewhat misleading. The author makes it sound like this truck sold for what it did because it’s pre-DEF and also comments on how it signals where the market is going. It sold for what it did because it’s one of the last 379’s built and is a low mile collector truck. The selling price of this one really has no bearing on the price of other 379’s or even gliders for that matter.

I've been watching very close. There's no surge for sure. Probably the best truck pricing for buyers I've seen right now.
