I'm following your posts closely, while I'm lookin at the pretty Werner brochure sittin on my desk (the one they mailed to my house). I'm starting class on the 11th with LoneStar.

Is it safe to say the "Werner honeymoon is over?"

Oh yes how could I forget lol. My previous trainer said he ran to Canada once and was paid .22 I think?

Thanks to all that are following my updates.. I know while I was searching employment during school I was looking for something like this.

I will say my last post was posted about 2 min after getting off te phone with Sdm so I was irritable. I don't really regret my choice going with Werner, it's just half the people in "management" don't know what's going on 90% of the time it seems. I think it might....MIGHT.. get better once I'm on my own.

The way I look at it is fresh outta school.. There really isn't good choice as far as companies.. So I'll do my time then perdue something better.

Currently hittin the sack in ft worth because everyone at this stop decided to go home early so we have to load up in the am.

    Be safe out there guys!

....man this is better than watching the soaps...let's give this TV show a name, something like...."As the Werner Turns"

I may be right behind you if Swift or Schneider don't pick me up first.

Well it's been a while since I updated for yall. Been to busy driving!!! Hahaha just kidding.

Well, trainer #2 got smart and
quit, I might have posted that before. Got trainer #3, good guy. Had some disagreements sometimes but alls well. One thing
I've learned, is the office people have no idea what one another is doing. And that if you have a trailer that was loaded on a fri-sat. It's going to be overweight. It's happen every weekend with us. The one we got yesterday(that would have finished the 8hours of training left) was 840lbs
over. And being holiday weekend there's no one there to re arrange it so we've been sitting here until we get another load. I "should" be back in Dallas to start getting my own truck tomorrow evening but inhighly doubt it. My training has deffinatly been a hell of an experience. Between dealing with the bs in the company, idiot drivers, and
getting "detained" by us customs. I'm ready to go home.

Anyone headin to Werner. Be warned it's not a place for a career. Get your experience..and move on.

Ps;sorry if my spelling is hacked... On my phone and half asleep.

Another update if anyones still readin.

Well finished training tuesday and got back to Dallas terminal early wedsday morning. Wedsday was nothing but cbt's(computer based training) and then waiting on truck assignment. Thursday was spent waiting on truck assignemtn more. Finaly got a truck 5min before they closed. Got me a 2010 peterbilt 387. Kinda suprised since i'm a rookie. Got my first load Friday for a pickup in Denton tx, stopin in eagle pass tx. As of now, been waiting on a load out of here and hopfuly headed home for hometime. Recruiters promis a week off after training, some dispatch is cool with it some aren't... Be persistant if you want it, or make some reason up of my you need to go home like I did :)

As far as runnin western region, it sucks. Sliding payscale is bull. I'm getting on the office max dedicated out of Vegas once I get home.

All I can day about western region is it doesn't pay near as much as it should, the sliding payscale is bull. I'm trying to get on a dedicated officemax account soon. I'll post some pics once I was it and can get to a computer, been doin all the updates from my phone. I got home yesterday after a run from texas to Cali, then here to Vegas. Gunna be here for a week. Hopfuly I don't lose my HUGE paycheck(sarcasm)
