Sounds like Truckers Report needs to start another section. In-between the "good company" and "bad company", they could have the "not that bad company".

Because many newbies (myself included), often feel the need to cut off their nose to spite their face.

Just like Aftershock the Wordsmith has pointed out in almost all of these threads- Rose Colored Glasses. The Kool-Aid is consumed and invincibility and the ability to beat the odds appear.

I'm just glad that the second I heard "Team Only" for company drivers that I never gave CRE another glance. I went on to get cheesed off at a different Driver Mill :biggrin_25523:. At least Swift doesn't ram the "Rent-A-Truck" program down newbie drivers throats.

Hi everyone sorry if I have not kept in touch. I have gone through the crengland course. Their pad trainers are really very good. I don't think I can make many comments that are bad about them considering that if someone came in here and tried to they could fire me at any moment. I will state however that there is a reason that people do complain about England. I hope that they treat me well. Thats all I have to say.

I have been here once every week or two following up. If anything happens to jump out at me I will say so.

Which would be what she gets for making herself so easy to identify on a internet forum- where said unscrupulous company could see her remarks, and use them as "due cause" to send her packing. (Or make the attempt to do so).

Well the whole thing's kinda strange, if you ask me.

Not only am I curious why they tried to send her packing, but what is the "persuasive behavior" that let her stay.

    Strange?

Those aren't very good options. Why in the hell would anyone want to drive for .13 cpm? Oh right no one does they move onto the next step which is "owning their own business" where they work 3 weeks out of the month in order to pay off England and they can keep the chump change that's left over from the fourth week. They might not be too interested in you after they have their money though. I suppose that's where you get on the phone and "set em straight" You hear of drivers living in the truck with no money to their name, making $800 dollars per month? Some of them aren't exaggerating.

Working for a company that has bullet proof glass and metal detectors at the terminal. That sounds like a great place to build a career at.

It that were the case, CR England would hire actual experienced, professional, truck drivers, instead of bus loads of people that have never seen the inside of a truck, or ever driven a stick shift before. Think about the reasons they don't do this.
