My Time At Steven's-Advice: RUN!!!!!

!.True If you buy anything with cash its cheaper than financing.
2.The same training definatnly not.Across country training+city driving at Stevens a whole lot more worth it. Plus you stay a yr its free.
3.Dont know i am sure other companys do it also Have you checked it out?
4.Stevens doe not train a hundred students aweek.bs mayde 25- 30 a week.Everybody who trains at Stevens dont plan on driving for Stevens.Some are quitters like you thats a good 60-70% You are getting the training school and the company combined.when its seperate.
5 true on the forced dispatch. all trailers are 53' footers. overlenth??? What da. You dont have to take a overweight trailer if your scared that wal mart or fed ex wont hire you for it.Do you know how long the waiting list for those jobs are?
6. orientation does not mean you are hired by the co. yet. That is School training not out with a trainer over the road paid training.
7.I dont know.Maybe you should go study law.
Become a Lawyer no money down just work for us a year and you wont have to pay a dime.........
*After you went to Stevens for training it seems you didnt learn much at all, but after the fact you seem to know more about it now instead of upfront. So, this is what it sounds like when doves cry.

 

Its so sad that all these quiters have to go onlie and slam a company because they thought they were gonna get some free truck driver training, and bounce scott free.

 

Yea me either It was pretty ggod in 2003,I think its just a bunch of ##### foot quitters who didnt read thier contract.

 

You jack ### you pay for 2 load locks, and 1 meat lock, and you are reimbursed after you ever quit or leave.Who is gonna buy #### for you to leave at a shipper or a recievers dock.It teaches you responabilities. You have got to be the biggest whinner.I am sure you got kicked off someones truck.

Keep reminding us why Stevens sucks. Never drove for them, thankfully. Too many bitter, foul mouthed, uneducated, fools like yourself over there. Just because you need your hand held and somebody telling you what to do every second of every day doesn't mean every body does.

You should clean up the vocabulary, grow up and for gosh sakes find some self esteem and go work for a real company that allows you to think for yourself...ya dopey rat.

 

think for yourself,your funny,you make it sound like they are out here driving the truck for us.LMAO.and then you say never drove for them.so that means you know enough about the company to make an educated assessment of the company,or youve just talked to one of the drivers that didnt agree with the way they operate their company and couldnt conform.

People take this advice you have read and run as fast as you can from Stevens. You will starve to death no matter how hard you try and it doesn't get better as time goes by. If you are lucky enough to be one of the pets then you will be ok but there are very few guys that are willing to hand their balls over to them on a silver platter. We are so discouraged due to the lies and false promises and lack of miles. The number one student in the class with the highest score in 5 years. 26 years in the transportation business isn't going to lie.
