I honestly don't know about L/O in HH. I've been out of Swift for a year on a local (military) job. However, Qualcomm code cowlj should be able to answer that. She was my DM and is a pretty good egg.
Note, if you're a 3 axle, you'll pretty much be limited to reefers (3 axle version). That'll put your max gross weight to about 95k vs the 4axle truck and trailers running up to 105,500. A huge amount of the backhauls are in the 100k + range. I don't want you to come in with a 3 axle and get too many deadhead returns hurting your check. -

Seeing how I would still be GREEN and maybe bump into something accidentally.
From what I've seen, heard and read here.....if you bump something especially first rattle out of the box....... you're done. -

I can't tell you how many times I drove off with the airlines attached when I was working IMOD. Those 12 hr night shifts were a beast. Never broke one.

You may have seen, heard and read that here but in reality you're incorrect. If "you bump something" the incident is reviewed and the driver is given close quarters training.lunaglow Thanks this. -
At this point Injun I just miss a big white truck with blue lettering. LOL
But yes......I do miss Thelma. That last truck was newer, cleaner, had far less miles and was a good truck but it just wasn't Thelma. *sighs* She's still on the fleet and I sigh everytime I see her. LOLInjun Thanks this. -

Wow! Thanks Y'All! What you said makes me feel better. I really would like a Volvo.(figers crossed) A friend of mine drove for SWift back in 07 before he fell and broke his back. He had a Volvo. I think that may have been when Swift just started using them in their fleet. He took me and the ex for a ride in it. I thought wow this thing rides sooo much better then my soon to be Ex's Freightliner did (that's what he had in 07) and it seemed to have more room and storage. So that would be really cool with me.
A few months back we were at Jubitz Truck stop in Portland OR. We had just pulled in and parked the truck. There was this guy in a Real pretty Red Pete Classic he had just pulled out from the truck wash and he was, I guess in a big hurry to get somewhere. He parked it, got out rolled the landing gear down. Jumped back in his truck and took off. Well he forgot something he did not unhook the lines. He ripped them right off and was dragging them. I just sat there with my mouth open. My husband just sat there too shaking his head. He pretty much realized what he had done immediately because they snapped back and hit the back of his sleeper pretty hard. I could not help but feel sorry for the guy. It had to have been real expensive to get fixed.
