Thanks, technically it's six months since getting my drivers code, not being solo. Whatever though, the mileage pay increase starts from the day you got coded and that's what matters.
Oh and I've never had three preplans at once to keep this on topic. Flatbed works different though.
Planned out 8 days.........

Yes it is a good trailer. The tandem slide release handle slides out easy every single time, brand new brakes, good tires, except the driver's side inside at the 4th axle, it's a little feathered on the outside tread like most trailer tires in that position which I think is caused by super sharp U-turns.
The only times I get stacked on preplans is when I'm 1500 plus miles away from my DM and the local terminal planner (in whatever area of the country I'm in) sees my truck in his area.
April 19 was one year since I got onto the mentor truck. -
scottied67 Thanks this.

your dm/planner has a lot of faith in you fr8monkey thinking you can handle all those. That's a good thing I would think.
fr8monkey and scottied67 Thank this. -

Same boat here, I had support when I started off now it's pretty much on me to do this.
fr8monkey Thanks this. -
I learned that if you need something done during the night or weekend you are screwed until Monday when the real people show up. Also if your trucks broke you have to drive it since all shops have A 3 plus day wait. I am really thinking about leaving. I get good miles most of the time but when something doesn't go perfect no ones helps. Just a bunch of quick answered pointless messages. From Memphis.

Most people work 7-5, 8-5, etc. you think you're going to find someone who drops everything to help you in the middle of the night or on a weekend at a different company? Your truck will break down at other companies , you will probably have to wait and/or endure pointless messages as well. Hell, it could be even worse.
Just saying think things through yeah? Yeah.scottied67 and fr8monkey Thank this. -
Well it's going on two days waiting for an empty. I have been to multiple shops with the truck no one can fix it. It just kills two days of my life unpaid. Also i forgot the load that bought me here was under 275 miles so they gave me a 1200 plus mile backup. Guess what happened to it. It dissappered.
fr8monkey and scottied67 Thank this. -
Why are you gong to multiple shops? Is your DM telling you to do that?
scottied67 Thanks this.
