Whoa, easy there big fella. Sammy was not trying to insult you. She was telling you how the big company view point is!

I don't think any intelligent individual ever really "forgets" how to drive. Rusty? yeah, of course, but it comes right back to you again.

I guess that could be taken the wrong way. I'm not upset by the comment at all. I understand that how some people will see my time off. I just didn't want to get in to a

    No you cant...
    Yes I can...
    I'm telling you you cant...
    You don't know me...

sort of situation. I just meant I didn't want to argue and couldn't figure a better way to put it at the time.

Sorry for any confusion I meant no offence.

Thats true, collecting unemployment checks is better then working for knight....lol

OK, I'll play for a company driving job who is the better choice? Or is this just about ######## about knight?

I've looked around, there is no "perfect" company driving jobs. Knight is hiring...lol

    Whatever, good luck to you.

Yes there are. No more empty searches, just haul freight and get paid for it. You might even luck out and get home every weekend. You've never heard of them, just go find it that perfect driving job.

    None taken!!

and what I meant by that you have 'forgotten how to drive' was it seems that OTR companies think that once you have been off the road or doing local 6 months you have forgotten how to drive! I think that it is insane especially if you are local and driving through the city or whatnot! I think it just bites that OTR companies think a short time out of the seat means you have lost all you have known and done prior and that sometimes life just gets in the way!! What is the old saying about getting back on a bike -you never forget how to ride! Correct you may be rusty but ......

I hope something works out for you and it may have to be that refresher course. Is there any option of you moving (you said something about selling your parent's home) close to a freight lane/terminal?

    Keeping you in my thoughts........

    BigJDub Thanks this.

That's only part of the hiring co.'s thought process.

Many see drivers get burned out on OTR, quit/do something else, and then thru desperation come back..but only for a short time til they get another job or get fed up again, and quit.....esp. those w/families!

Talk is cheap, but thats what I thought. Do you even drive OTR? Of course i've "HEARD" of them, but where are they. Times have changed, thats just the way it is now. CSA is going to get rid of the O/O also. Dumbest thing that could have happened to trucking.

Unless you can even give me an example then youre talking out of the side of your neck.

Yup of course! GO FIND A GOOD JOB! So you need everything handed to you on a silver platter? Pull your boot straps up and go find one.

As for me and what I do, don't even worry about that.

BUT he can drag one DOWN.

Legal all the way to Garbageville. Just he would have to go through Oregon. Pier 1 accounts at the Bayshore Mall. There is a Tulare driver working from Fortuna. He wasn't impressed.

Too bad you can't get Winco foods. They are have run. Also try LW Miller, they do the feed in Eureka.

Exactly all talk, youre so far out of touch with this industry you are truly lost. I have a job and I am making money. How did you miss that?
