Still home...but leaving in the late morning.....truck is in the body shop now so I will be taking a truck that is being sold to (a southern country other than USA), then bring up a "newer" truck for some new hire here in SAC!
So L.A. and back...how exciting! -
watching a Werner driver in the truck stop.. i can only guess that she's new, cause it seems as if she's practicing.. and all i can say is wow.. it makes me wonder if i was that bad when i first came out back in Sept.

I thought I posted that they wanted me to bobtail (and HURRY) to Houston and maybe get a trailer. Well I did. Then got to Port Allen, LA at that dang Castroil plant to get a load. Dropped a very nice almost new Great Dane and was fooled by the number on the one they were bringing out to me. It is a dang 1999 Great Dane. Snatched and dented and old.
Slept in Port Allen last night.
Drove 10.5 hours and 612 miles and am in Oak Grove, KY.
Dispatch says between 00:01 and 23:59 tomorrow. But Castroil byatch wrote 4pm on the Bill.
And directions say no more than one hour early.
I'm doing PTI and getting there about 7am. Hope they'll take it! -
Never hurts to try, Dave. Worst they'll do is give you The Look* and send you packing for a while.
*for those who haven't experienced The Look, it's that sour expression security guards get that says "Ew. Another dumbarsed truck driver."1nonly, Hammer166 and otherhalftw Thank this. -
