Still home...but leaving in the late morning.....truck is in the body shop now so I will be taking a truck that is being sold to (a southern country other than USA), then bring up a "newer" truck for some new hire here in SAC!

    So L.A. and back...how exciting!

I thought I posted that they wanted me to bobtail (and HURRY) to Houston and maybe get a trailer. Well I did. Then got to Port Allen, LA at that dang Castroil plant to get a load. Dropped a very nice almost new Great Dane and was fooled by the number on the one they were bringing out to me. It is a dang 1999 Great Dane. Snatched and dented and old.

Slept in Port Allen last night.

Drove 10.5 hours and 612 miles and am in Oak Grove, KY.

Dispatch says between 00:01 and 23:59 tomorrow. But Castroil byatch wrote 4pm on the Bill.
And directions say no more than one hour early.

I'm doing PTI and getting there about 7am. Hope they'll take it!

Never hurts to try, Dave. Worst they'll do is give you The Look* and send you packing for a while.

*for those who haven't experienced The Look, it's that sour expression security guards get that says "Ew. Another dumbarsed truck driver."

    Gezzz!!!!!!!!!!!
This has been one of them weeks at home that cant end soon enough!
Came home last Saturday after almost 4 weeks out and anyone that knows me thats about 3 weeks more than I care for.
Anyway Sunday Lisa tells me she has found a new...........

    CAR!!!!

And I tell her they still make'em every day whats your point? Its a car she wants.
Soooooooooooo Monday I flop down 25grand on her a 2012 Nissan Altima.
Tuesday rolls around and my tenant calls and said the stove is on the blink. After givin it a once over I figure it best to get another one. Now my tenant aint real picky and said if I can find a good used one would be fine. So I came home started looking in the paper for a used stove when Lisa said "We got a good used one right here"
Sooooooooooooooo today I flop down 1100 bucks for her a new stove and me tenant got ours.

Oh what did I get this week?..............a brand new carrier bearing!:biggrin_25523:

    Loading Friday for Laredo:biggrin_25525:
