I have had to sit on a load for a day or two, fm paid me. T0810 sounds like your fm is on top of things like mine. Speaking for myself, it makes the days here that sometime run long, alot shorter, knowing that someone is working in my corner.

I've been enjoying my hometime . Went by waayyyy to quickly though haha.

Can someone confirm that they did not change the 2 week out minimum with all this other crap they "supposedly" changed. I'm not going to be going home on the weekend next time due to me having to get a few things done that I can't get done during the weekend. (Couldn't get done now due to lack of extra funds for it).

Also, what kind of time frame do they need for vacation? I plan on telling my FM I want my vacation for the end of the month/beginning of next month. Whatever my 2 weeks out, 2 days on, then another 2 weeks out falls on. If everything goes well, I'll be taking a trip up to Canada to see a few friends and then maybe a few other things since I'll probably keep the truck parked in Vandalia... empty... But who knows what actually will happen.

 

It took several phone calls and at least 50 q com messages, but I did get most of the downtime coming to me. I did have to fight weekend dispatch, but I did get back to Beckley Wva to get my belongings. I am in a much better tractor now. There is an issue with the APU hopefully this will get fixed while I am on hometime this week. I hope I will never have a 10 day period like the last 10 have been. My FM has been in this with me. He came through at every point. As long as he is my FM and the company comes through like they have I will be proud to drive that big white truck. I hope once I do get back on the road they keep me loaded, if so I may be with USA Truck for longer then my year. That is a lot of if's so we will see.
