    i can only use it when i have the GPS turned on on my phone, and that makes the phone freeze up lol

    If the phone isn't getting a 3G or wireless signal when it's trying to upload at the 5 minute mark, it won't update. Did you have a solid 3G signal on the first half of your ND to SD haul?

    I'll continue developing the app if enough users are interested in it, and in the next version your phone will save the shipment location updates when it doesn't have a signal so it can upload the missed updates when it's in range again.

    ya every time i turn the GPS on the phone becomes a paper weight lol. Its A motorola Droid 2, not sure what version it is, i got it last march i think if that helps narrow it down


    I think its just because its a micrsoft powered phone gps is too much to handle :biggrin_2559:

    My netbook refuses to recognize the modem when I try to go online with Eclipse logbook running in the background. Maybe same kind of situation.

    I think AT is saying that he was having this problem before, so I don't think the app has anything to do with it. Correct me if I'm wrong, AT.

    thats correct, i was just saying that because my $400 phone is a POS i cant use your app :biggrin_2557:.

    I'm going to go to Verizon to see if they can my my phone do its job so i can try this app.:biggrin_2558:

    For the members that were asking earlier about an iPhone version, it was just approved by Apple today. More info here:

    Personally, I'm agnostic in the mobile phone wars, but I certainly appreciated how easy it was to get listed on Android Market vs having to go through the approval process for iTunes.
