Trucking can be like a bad marriage...

This babe here was practically shoving her feet down my throat...and everyone elses..

just had them dangling all out the window in the wind...and so i couldn't resist...

just smack dab, right there for me...cruising down the highway...


She wanted the whole world to see her feet(and tatoo)...and now they will...for she had no idea she was coming up on the ghostchildd...

 

I saw lot's of feets smashed against windshields today and on the dash...all the women wanted to show their feet to the world...and i think one guy....

Anyways...I'm in the big T now...Texas...and wore out...I don't have the endurance I use to when this was all new...now I do it just for the dough...

Like a wife in a marriage...she stays married for the dough...as long as the dough is good...

Other than all the feet I saw today...nothing real exciting occured...no accidents...oddly dressed people...just a long casual day...

And now it's time for bed...




Ye right, if only the cab of this truck looked this nice and clean...

But I can pretend...

Of all the threads I read on here last night...this one scared or worried me the most...or I should say was the most troublesome...

And it has to do with drivers health...just something scary about it...
getting blood clots just for sitting for long periods of time while driving...

That's probably why I instinctivly stop alot and move around...

All I hear on here is diabetes type this, type that...and heart attacks...

Now maybe some of you can see why I love to celebrate my health...me body...cause I'm not trying to turn into motionless, slombering 'truck driver'...

I see the type daily...they've totally lost all signs of athletism in their body...no bounce at all...just stiff...like they're weighed down with bricks or something...

I don't ever want to be that way...and so taking photos of myself like I do, forces me to 'look' at what i am...body wise, health wise...cause no one really wants to take photos of themselves if they're not healthy, including myself...

So photos help remind me to stay fit...and 'young'...or at least young minded...
Cause i don't want to end up one of those making constant trips to DR...being told I have a high this or high that....not that it won't ever happen...by why rush it...

And now after reading that truckers link...I will double my efforts to excercise...don't care how silly it looks to others....

And by the way...good morning from the large state of Texas...

 

This is one time I regret going inside, and leaving camera...cause like I said on the other thread...some you you all get 'freaky'...in the morning...

I don't think ya do it on purpose...i think it's just the effects of being away from home for so long...

And so you start to display and show yourself, as if your at home in your own private bathroom, instead of outside your truck for all to see...

Like the hairy near nude man I practically bumped into as they made they're way around the truck...I guess doing morning inspection...

it was a sight I did not want to see...but since i did, and we made eye contact...all i could do was wave...



And they waved back....one of those awkward moments...

And then seeing the string of males, men, march into the truck stop wearing flip flops...but having the body of Archie Bunker...



Not a pretty sight...seeing Archie Bunker types wearing shorts and flip flops in the morning, as they all work their way to the mens room...no way...

At times it's all I have to look at in the morning...or first visual contact...
I'd probably rather look at a soft feminane cross dresser before I would want to look at a hairy topless man in flip flops and shorts...

(if you'd rather look at the hairy male, you need to ask yourself why?)...

Anyhow...gotta get out of here...will check in later...

 

The desert is hot..



.and very unforgiving...the SW desert in America will rival any around the world in heat and intensity...it's no joke...

I stepped out to polish tanks...for excercise, and had to remove neck chain, cause sun heated it up so much...

Some of the newer trucks may have more effecient cooling systems...but the truck I have...well...who knows...

But when driving through the desert, you have to listen to your engine...new or used...

And I'm sure I'll soon be passing by casualties of the heat...drivers who allowed engine to get to hot before acting...

usually computer will just shut engine down...but if driver has music on real loud, and distracted by cell phone...they may do to much damage for engine to restart...

Who will be that drivers?...for the first one i pass broke down on shoulder with hood popped open...will be my first guest of the day on here....

Anyways...gotta roll...

 

Hello...

When your in the desert, there's really not much to do but drive...
So there's really nothing to write about....except a comment a cashier made...when I told her I didn't need the food they talked me into buying...

And her response was 'Women like men with meat on their bones'...
Implying that it was my objective to attract and or cater to the every need and whim of a lady....

Maybe she meant well...but I was taken aback by the comment...
I guess she automatically just figured all males worship females...to the point of neglecting good health, and gaining weight, just so a lady will want you...

Well I'm at a stage in my life now...where I ask...'what is that lady going to do for me?'...is she going to pay my bills?...fix my car for me? Have my kids?

If she's not willing to pro-create with me, than what or why should I care anymore what a woman wants than what a man wants??

And on another note....HOS boards have it wrong...well kind of...
What makes drivers drowsy is not so much lack of sleep as it is no movement while driving...
When you sit, your blood flow slows, you breath in less oxygen, and as such you get drowsy...

Movement or frequent breaks, is the answer to that...
Like today, when I started feeling that way, I simply got out and excercised...and felt all recharged...

Anyways...that's all i have to plug in right now...this desert has me feeling very calm and sureal right now...as such there are no 'hot' issues under me skin right now...rather I just kind of feel like a cloud in the desert...

As I was driving along...chatting on the radio...looking off into the desert as the sun set....


A thought came to my mind...

I was thinking how I would like to just be free from it all, have enough capitol to buy a ranch a top one of the desert platueo cliffs to be all alone or away from society...with just a few select souls around you...

And then I was like...'Even if I had to buy or rent friends for a week'....and then walla...
My second thought was 'Rent-a-friend'....??...hmm....
I was like 'Has anyone ever created such a business??'

And then my mind went to work....



Rent a friend, would be a business where someone could rent 'people' for a specific event or occasion...I'd have like a catalog where custimors could choose who they wanted to rent as a friend...

But it would be non sexual interaction....just people, or a person, who would show up and be your best friend or friends for as long as you wanted them around...

Like for a camping trip or to go to a ball game, or the zoo or bowling or whatever...vacation...ect ect...

I mean in the end, you don't really know who likes you, and for what reasons anyhow...at least with Rent-a-friend there would be no false pretense...

The people around you would basically be there to cator to your ego and make you feel loved and liked...and at the end of the event or occasion...they leave...

I think a lot of people with money, who are lonely, might use such a service...

Again...it would be a non sexual service or business...and if any of that did take place, it would be totally out of the bounds of the contract...

Anyways...just a thought...but I wonder if such a business would work or actually get custimors?

And how would you recruite employees?
How would the add read?
'Wanted, part-time rent-a-friend custimor service employees wanted...must have flexible scheduale'?
And would they be independent contractors or regular employees?

Just a thought, I doubt it would ever happen...but just registering the name alone, would probably generate lots of media attention...

 

I wish I could show you all where I'm at right now...
I've never seen it so 'dark'...in years...I'm in the middle of nowhere...no sign of man or lights...accept a few vehicles on the road that pass by...
No lights visible nowhere...nothing...pitch black....like space black...out here in the desert...it's kind of scary actually...

Most, including myself, aren't use to this type of enviornment...expecially on the East Coast...where everything is so crowded together...

You would not believe that vast amount of desert in the SW...I mean just empty terrain for as far as you can see...like Mars...it's unbelievable...

I just stepped outside...and it was pitch black...couldn't see inches infront of my face...then I looked up and could clearly see every single star...and the nebula...



It's amazing...but also kind of creepy, in that you realize how alone you are...not up there, but down here...where I'm at...it's the perfect set up for a horror movie...

Actually...I suddenly find myself getting...well you know......what is wrong with me??

 

Made it through the night...
Some observations about the SW and drivers...

1. You'd be real hard pressed to visual spot a non-hispanic white chic in the SW...almost anywhere..and a black chic...forget it...extinct species in the SW...



Expecially when you get West of San Antonio, they're almost non-existant...

2. The only young...(under 30 or 25) drivers you mainly see are Hispanic, and or middle eastern and or Asian drivers...you'd be hard pressed to find young Euro-American males driving trucks...
And you also see younger A-American males...
But it seems younger American white males, are not filling the coffers as did their dads and grandfathers...
I wonder if they're just getting into other fields now like computers or military or administrative careers?

3. Notibally the general female drivers are about the same in number as they were when I first started driving...but very rarely chat on the CB radio...as far as that goes hardly anyone talks on it anymore...at least in certain areas...

And again, it's usually older female drivers...maybe divorced, kids already raised...
In whole career I've maybe seen 3-5 female drivers that were solo and under 27...
