agreed.....a thief will get in quickly whether its locked or not and doesn't need a key to start it either for all you n00bs who think your out smarting said thief by taking the ignition key..

That sorta sucked...lol. Ned to teach the dog how to unlock the door for you.:yes2557:

I never take my key out of the ignition. I do lock the doors more now than I used to but like you said, if they want in they'll get in.

At one time I was gonna have a sign made that said....... check door before breaking anything, it may be unlocked.

See the funny thing about that is I didn't realize I hit the lock on the door. I was just stepping out to pick up a load so I grabbed my ID and my trip info. 99% of the time when I do that, I don't lock the door.

Last time that happened to me was christmas 2009, after a road trip to Dallas. Stopped at a friends house to pickup my computer, which had been delivered to their place. Bruno jumped up and locked me out of the pickup, no biggie, borrowed car to go get my lockout tools from my truck. Get there (acreage co-owned with ex) and realize my truck keys are in the pickup. I'm fairly proficient at unlocking doors with a coat hanger, but it's about -10, dark, and I'm getting texts the whole time threatening me with the sheriff. I now keep a spare hidden on the truck. o_O

Thats what I hate about new cars.

My truck is too old to have the luxury of electric locks.....:yes2557:
