Hi all,
I've been out of the game for about 2 years. I have been doing a lot of research and it seems like Schneider or USX are the best options in my region to get my foot back in the door. I tried a shady company for 1 week and it wasn't for me. I have also applied to Swift. Unsure about Swift though. I live in the Los Angeles area. Any help would be appreciated.
Schneider or USX?

I was also looking into USX but im a noob looking for a company to get on with to get my cdl and a year otr exp. Is it true that they force you to team after you finish training?
I looked in to schneider too but I've heard too many bad things about them so I'm staying away from those orange trucks lolLast edited: Sep 6, 2011

I have no clue. I think I'll be solo. I have 7 years total experience just none in the last 2 years.

If your going solo then go with Schneider. USX is a team company that utilizes solo's only to pick up and deliver team freight.
-
Yeah I was thinking Schneider too. Thanks, I didn't know that about USX.
-
yea I also want to be a solo driver so I guess usx is out of the question for me

I'm going back to CRST. I called em today and my dispatcher gave me a really good write up when I quit last time. Gonna put me with a co-driver for 2 weeks and then back on dedicated. It's teams but whatever. I really liked their dedicated runs. I like how they let you log too.

Neither...LOL

Does anybody have any experience with a USX Dedicated Dollar General Account? It appears Schneider doesn't have any Solo stuff where i live at this time.
