thanks bor and jen. I try to keep a good additude, life is to short not to. anyone can pick any company apart just because they all look at the little things they don't like and build on that. not much fun there to me. I just hope that I don't have to deal with the weekend crew anymore (they can't seem to let each other know what they are doing with the drivers) I was on a load that I was told delivered sat night in NJ, the guard told me that I would have to wait untill mon. ok no prob right, called dispatch and told them and they told me to take it to our drop yard in pa. and get another load. great right? wrong-- on sunday they ask why I didn't deliver so again I proceed to tell them what happened and they say ok and then one of them put me on a different load that delivers on mon. in NJ and I asked about the first load and then they reply by dispatching me to CT. when I asked them what one of the three they want me to take I get a message saying that I am off the load. can any one answer which one I am off of? I know that I can't answer that one and when asked I was told to wait untill mon to talk to my reg fleet manager. to some this would really upset them, to me I get a 34 and a good comedy show. but if any one can tell me what load to take I would like that very much. lmao
I have to agree on that one Vino I do get alot of north east but I can deal with that I lived in the north east most of my life so I am used to the traffic and all that good bs. I am glad to see that you are not posting just to cut up the co. on the reasons that you left other then the money and northeast. question for you though was you a c1 student or did you pay for your own school? I am asking to see how they are about the money once you left them. I also would like to hear if they charged you anything else once you left them. I am just wondering so I can see if everyone gets charged or if they are some that don't get charged for truck recovery as some put it. thanks
Yes i was a C1 student. USA took out weekly from my check to pay for school. When i left, they never charged me any additional. I returned my truck to Van Burien so i wasn't charged for truck recovery. You have to leave truck at one of their terminals or u will be charged. Its best to give notice too.
hey there ya hubby as compland about the weekend dispatcher he dont care for some of them as you said they dont talk and get there stuff stright , any way just try and hang in there to me it dont look good if you keep changeing job and that any job for small reason . but that me, hope all work good for u .
you say that you only worked for them for six months, right? did they come after you for the rest of the money that you owed for the school or did they just let you out of it?
I don't leave a job for small reasons and I don't like to change jobs at all. it is like starting a new life everytime that you do. you have to make new friends and learn a whole new way of doing things. it is too much hassel to deal with all of that for nearly nothing. and yea the weekend dispatch is worthless I told my fleet manager that I will take a 34 hour restart before I deal with them again.
I never heard from them. That was a year ago. Not to say that someday they might pop up and say that i owe them money.
deadmanwlkn, glad to hear you are making out good at USA Truck.Sounds like your attitude and work ethics are very good.
