I see this all the time. It seems trainers are trying to pay for their "lease/rent" of their brand new shiny truck. to do this it is here you go, i am going to catch a nap, try to wake me if you need anything. Next thing you see is either that nice shiny truck laying on its side somewhere, or it is around back of the scale, or worse yet it is on top of someones car. Trainers are the middle men and women who are basically told to shove them in and treat new drivers like cattle if you want to make your payment. The trainers are people who have as little as 3 months experience only on the road. Probably do not have any snow/ice driving themselves, and i am sure as I am typing this have never chained a tire in their life. They do not know how to thoroghly pretrip a truck, how to fix something to get you off the road to a shop. Hell, just try to talk to someone on the cb radio and forwarn them of road closed cause of accident, or they have something important, oh lets see like their air lines are dragging the ground on the trailer. Oh wait that would involve the use of mirrors. It is ironic that we need drivers so bad to move all the freight, that Safety, Integrity, Courtesy, and Common Sense just to name a few, are things from a long forgotten time. Sorry for the rant and rave, I know we all see this everyday. Perhaps "In a dream world" enough people might push this in a direction that it gets the attention of the people in the industry that could implement change. Not the government buarocrocy that will tie this up and debate on it and try to overregulate the people who are doing everything right to make it better for the Mega Companies who employ steering wheel holders doing it wrong. Come on at least have some pride in yourself. Flush the toilets, lift lid before you take a leak, wash your hands, or just try acting like a human being, and not a ####roach. Just Sayin.

Man after reading all these posts I now realize how truly dangerous our roads have become. Very very sad how little todays drivers really know.
