Im safe to assume that the "Suicide' was the other person (or your really bored up there),,thus in this instance, they used all the pertenent info they could garner(like I said, and you said) you are explaining a suicide(yes a "incident",none the less ) but a suicide, now if it were deemed anything but that, they would throughly would have recreated a time period leading up to the accident to determine fault and cause. If you had a Qualcomm(with ELOGS) like you say then that would have clearly given the on scene officers all the on scene info they needed to go by(Thus no other calls)

I would like to add though (and for all of you that want to pile on) here is a bit of advice you might want to "glean" from his statement,,he gave multiple statements to multiple on scene 1st responders ,,

you as a driver are to only give ONE statement,,any safety director will tell you this,"never admit" to anything and or assume what "could have happened" might be the statement they would also use.

As for your assertion that I have NO experiance in a accident investigation, well Unfortunately I do,I was the sole "Eye" witness to a 2 car "T" bone accident which resulted in a fatality, and the driver of the car that killed the woman was charged with death by motor vehicle,,,6 months of lawyers and a criminal trial and then a civil matter(treated like crap from both sides) so yes I well aware of all that encompasses a accident

As for my "irregularities" and your "Hobby",I take that as a condescending tone from you (tho<irregularity right there it really doesnt bother me in the least,,,

I understand that you are from the wrong coast, that is "kewl" with me,,,
All of us cant be from the south,we need people like you that want to be
    (^ That is condescending))

*"Telling it like it is",,a hobby of mine:biggrin_25525:

Sorry, irresistible ! Just couldnt contain that last one, crap now you got me doing it

It hasn't been "on topic" for quite a while now...as Injun said...purely entertainment and a sort of "Pithing contest"...change a couple letters and then you know!:biggrin_25525:

that's funny, our company was like that too. Then we started putting all new drivers on eLogs and everyone figured turnover of new drivers would go up. Except for the part that it went down, and there has been little effect on drivers miles. The guys that are suffering from a lack of miles are the guys that were running 4500-5000 every week. Turns out when they go on eLogs, they actually feel better and their wives like them again....weird. Oh but the downside, they can't take that 2 hour nap during the day like the used to?

Pit fall from company's that pay mileage vs percentage.
While I was on percentage pay as a company driver I got cranky if I had to drive over 2500 miles a week. Even as an Owner Operator I still do.
Even on E-logs they cant figure an 2/8 split break?:biggrin_25526:
