So, can a driver keep a paper trail of a situation like that? ie: 12:30 pm date such and such trailer whatever -- not working -- rear of unit not getting cooled -- blah, blah, blah and send an e-mail or an Q colm and take a picture of the Q colm?

You could do that but it wouldn't do any good. Knight would view that as a driver they can't steal from and at that point their about done with you.

When I got the bad trailer, I used my phone and Qualcomm to call the problems in

Sounds like at this point you may be looking to protect your DAC, but I know nothing... I am just reading and reading before I begin applying and I won't be applying at Knight

I don't know who it was, but someone pulled through and I got paid finally. Got my tractor back from b service. Actually has new tires. Ive been asking for them since July.

I'm headed to Tucson and el paso today. We'll see what happens. I need to make this work until June.

Good for you Smaggs. From my experience at Knight I can only say I don't believe their goal is to screw you out of money. Yes, you do have some employee's that work there in every department that have terrible work ethics. The size that Knight is, it's real easy for these folks to be over looked, because when they are seen by their Superior's, they're butt kissing anyway.

I would suggest when you have issues or concerns that you can't get resolved from your FM, go to the terminal manager. If your work ethic is strong & you have a positive attitude in only wanting resolve in your legitimate issues. The TM will hear you and take action.

Also if you can transfer over to the El Paso terminal, they are a great bunch of folks over there. Request David as your FM. He started & ran the Squire School & Division in Indy until moving back home to EP in late 2010. He WILL keep you rolling & he WILL make you money. He knows his stuff.

Anyway, I'd say good luck, but you're smart enough to know...we make our own luck....or curses.

    Smaggs Thanks this.

Glad to see things worked out for you. I learned a lot from your thread and your videos. I appreciate it. There may be fewer "surprises" waiting for me waiting for me down the road.
