Well perhaps they should build kitchen sinks for us truckers to use like they offer showers and a laundry room. Maybe coming in 20 years from now :)

They don't care NewNash. I've used the coffee sink many times. Just use sense and take a couple things in at a time. I used a plastic grocery bag to carry it in and a clean bag to carry it back out.

You'll see people do it on occasion. Many will wash their thermos out there.

I wouldn't go in with a duffle bag full. :)

Get in the habit of carrying 2-3 gallons water and you can even wash dishes at the truck.

I can tell you the sink near the coffee pot is not for washing your personal dishes or for your use at all. You may get away with it if the cashier is busy. And who, pray tell, in their right mind would want to brush their teeth in a restroom sink ? A sink that gets every scumbag on this planet using it ? Yeah, I know, I'm one of 'em since I do use it to wash my hands, but brush my teeth there........noooooooooo.

Get a large bowl, fill it with water at the fuel island and wash your dishes near your truck.

I cook at home on the weekends and eat out of the plastic dishes the food is in. Then take them home and wash them. As for brushing my teeth, I just stand beside my truck and brush them. Afterwards I use water from a gallon jug that I reserve for rinsing my toothbrush.

I don't think I could brush my teeth in a public restroom or shave for that matter.

I wash my slow cooker in the shower all the time. My Tupperware I can wash in the truck with water and soap but sometimes take it in the shower too.

we use Clorox hard surface spray then wipe the pots or dishes clean. Works good and have never had any health problems doing that over the years.

Never thought of that will have to try it. I have Clorox wipes I use to clean fridge and microwave wonder if the will work too.

Yep, have friends who use the wipes. We just like the spray better.

My sister is chlorox happy and even puts it in her dish water. She'll fix me something and put it in Tupperware. You can taste the bleach. Nasty! :)

What's wrong with dawn and water?

Back to NewNash. Now that I read the whole thread, I think RM said it best, ask the clerk if you can use the sink. Some might care, some don't.
