Patty-Do you honestly think walmart gives a crap about the fuel your using idleing? Them signs are posted to cover their own ###'s when the city, county whatever has a ordanance about idling! I know this is a old thread but after reading, alot of you need to grow a set and REFUSE to deliver there again! If you were 1/4 as good as you think you are you could get a job that didn't have to put you in these HORRIBLE places. So the bottom line is either you are a useless piece with no dignity, or you are being overdramatic! Now go take a shower, eat a can of beens&weenies.

I have no problems with walmart DCs. They have their policies and I arrive on time and 2 hours later I am gone. And the company has an account for the $50 fee. Just sign and leave.
silenteagle Thanks this. -

Ive delivered to hundreds of walmart Dc's.You arrive early.Read the signs that tell you what to do.Listen to the guards that tell you what to do.Follow the procedures they have in place, and you have no problems. You can count on two hrs after your appt.time.Pick up your paperwork and leave. What is so difficult about that.Target Dc's are far worse. The best Costco. The drivers that give them problems, dont follow the procedures,or feel procedures somehow dont apply to them are the ones that have problems.

On the main topic: I've had a bad DC a while ago when I was a company driver. I said, "If I EVER have to come back here, forget it." Some of these places, just don't care really. -
The only one I have had to deal with is the one in Sparks or Fernly, NV or what ever they call that one. Been there three times 1 1/2hrs both times. Pretty painless. I do get a kick out of the $50 fee. I was chatting with the lady about it the first time and she really believed that it was not getting back charged to them. I had to explain to her that she charged me, I charged my company, the company charged Jennie-O and that Jennie-O simply tacked it back on to shipping charges that got billed to them. She thought I was crazy.

Been to many DCs as well and as long as you're punctual, polite (no matter how unpleasant they are) and follow their rules, I've been in and out with no issues. -
