Really says a lot about Knight when their idea of "driver retention" is not getting them home...EVER.
Hostage, I ran our of Hutchins too and it was the same two years ago. Most of my loads home went to the Tulsa yard. No mileage pay OR reimbursement for the tolls for the drive home. You would think a driver would get mileage pay to the next pickup after hometime. But nope that's only other companies...not Knight.

Knight will do anything to avoid paying you. That's why I left after just over a year working for them. They will flat out NOT pay you AT ALL for some runs and then lie to your face and say they "put it through". You will not usually get reimbursements. They will take the receipts you scan in and just file them for their tax reasons and "forget" to put your payment through. This is all because they have many drivers that don't have access to the payroll website to check.
Then when you call them out, they'll cook the books online to make it look good, but if you check your bank account, you will not receive a penny. Trust me. I went down this road numerous times with them.
Get to a terminal and get away from them.
A friend of mine quit and they had the audacity to claim he actually destroyed one of their trucks, which is totally untrue.Dennis_Miller and Fiddle Sticks Thank this. -

Why wouldn't I? I've never been stiffed on Oklahoma tolls whether going home or not. It didn't break me nor did the numerous other tolls and scales I paid for. Just the principal of the whole thing.

The thing about reimbursement is true...they'll put on their books like they paid you for it but in reality they didn't!..I got sick and tired of having to call payroll every week to ask where's my $$..??

#### reading this #### makes me not even wanna drive trucks period! I called this company about a job, an was actually considering them? But I'm glad I read this! Now I know to avoid them! Plus alot of their trucks that I seen look beat the #### up! So that gave me a bad impression from the get go.
Dennis_Miller Thanks this. -
Shaggy76 Thanks this.

Everything else aside, Knight has very few trucks that are " beat the #### up", in my experience. Any trucks that are " beat the #### up" were probably " beat the #### up" by drivers with your experience.
Just saying, Slick.Shaggy76 Thanks this. -
Does Knight Transportation allow company drivers to take trucks home or require parking at a terminal? I'm considering driving for them.....thanks
