Your right! Normally this is true.

I started trucking in 97. I spent over 1 year doing my research (like you I didn't just jump into any old company) My First choice for a OTR carrier was MS CARRIERS out of Memphis TN . I hired on at 36cpm made 50k my first year 60/70k years following. We got bought out by SWIFT in 2001 Merger was complete in 02'. I had lined out a dedicated run as a coach by the house for dinner every other day and weekends off. 4200 miles at .50cpm. My CPM was at low end union wages. I had many other bonus as well my main one was to retain my drivers .2 cpm bonus for every mile they ran off of my truck up to a year. (usually 10 of them at a time recurring) that was about 25k a year by itself.

My father a retired YELLOW teamster loved bragging up my pay stubs to his other LTL friends about how his son made more money then them, at SWIFT!!! LMAO

He would follow everyone of my post and just pick them apart, find anything he could to argue about. He started threads about how stupid i am and whatever, he sent me emails and posted on my profile about how much he hates me, he'd get banned and rejoin under a new name. All for no reason at all lol

That is sad, sad that he doesn't have anything better to do! Consider this tho, you know your doing something right when you have haters.. Heck I have got death threats sent to my home residence. My company gets at least 5-10 calls for complaints on me daily, my company has my screen and info protected any phone calls concerning me are immediately terminated. They get atleast 30/40 calls a to Driver mangers asking if I'm at such a such place because they believe the Seen TRUCKER STEVE... lol The recruiters like when ppl call too see about the company of course they take those phone calls.. LOL
