I would really, REALLY love to "like" the reason Dark Terminal got banned (listed at the bottom of this page!) LMAO -
I started trucking in 97. I spent over 1 year doing my research (like you I didn't just jump into any old company) My First choice for a OTR carrier was MS CARRIERS out of Memphis TN . I hired on at 36cpm made 50k my first year 60/70k years following. We got bought out by SWIFT in 2001 Merger was complete in 02'. I had lined out a dedicated run as a coach by the house for dinner every other day and weekends off. 4200 miles at .50cpm. My CPM was at low end union wages. I had many other bonus as well my main one was to retain my drivers .2 cpm bonus for every mile they ran off of my truck up to a year. (usually 10 of them at a time recurring) that was about 25k a year by itself.
My father a retired YELLOW teamster loved bragging up my pay stubs to his other LTL friends about how his son made more money then them, at SWIFT!!! LMAOLast edited: Aug 5, 2012
