Now with a little luck, you can see if the truck will hold together long enough to use them all for a change.

    48Packard Thanks this.

Just told Lincoln I'm available and ready to go....so far, nothing...

Our communications since I got home:

Me: "I have dropped my mt at Spartanburg and am bobtailing home. No room for a trailer close by for 4 days." (Thurs afternoon)
"I will be ready to roll by 0800 tomorrow morning. No mt with me." (Mon evening)
"I am ready to roll." (this morning at 0653)

My Asset Manager, just a few minutes ago: "Do you have an mt?"
Me (feeling a little snarky already): "NO, as stated several times previously dating back to last Thursday".

I'm very, very quickly losing faith in my AM. Leeann's suggestions may not be good enough...may have to ask for a different AM.

I delivered in Lethbridge Alberta yesterday and missed the only flight out of here to Calgary by one hour. So I am leaving today and flying back to Texas for a couple of R&R days and then picking up a truck and heading back up here on Friday.

My first trip to Canada as an adult. Nice place and people. They could raise their speed limit though.....

Still sitting here with the truck outside my window, QC hanging out the window and volume turned up so I can hear it.

But if they don't get me rolling inside of the next hour, I'm backing out my PTA to tomorrow morning and do some work around the house. Not wasting an entire day for these people any more. They don't have respect for a driver's time, scroom.

I also love it when you tell them, as I did this morning at 0615, that I would be ready to roll at 0700. They reply by asking me to notify them when I'm actually ready to roll. What kind of shortsighted BS is this?

Haven't thrown away my Schneider letter yet....may just end up using it. I'm finding I have less patience with Lincoln then I thought I did.....

Down in south central. Can't get load to west. Talked to another Creten. He cannot get to NC. He fought a couple of really stinky loads for one that just smells bad. Either freight is slow or the AM's/Planners are not performing well.:-(

Don't you need an MT to actually get a load? I always left one at the truckstop and bobtailed home. If I did leave one at the yard I would put a fake seal on it.

The problem is...e-log. It'll show movement, and a start of the 14, but then the brain trust will take their good sweet time getting a load, blowing the 1st day right out of the water.

I actually did o.k. out of the Syracuse area. They deadheaded me all the way to Rotterdam to pick up a load headed to Gordensville, VA. A 650 mile run, then once empty in Gordensville, I got a quick load plan. Pick up a repowered load from the Pete dealer in Raphine, VA going to Van Wert, OH for Wed. 567 miles.(company truck, but a Prostar, not a Pete...Cummins engine problems. Saw a puddle of diesel under the truck) That'll put me at 2340 by noon on Wednesday with some time on my 11. I will have just under 9200 miles for the month, and 20150 for this quarter and I still have a week and a half to go. A major improvement over last quarter...so far. I am just beat to death from the F'd up roads up there...I've put in a request to stay out of purgatory for a while to let my neck and back recoop a bit. We'll see how long he can go before I get sent back to Coryland. I have been up there more since I've had an A/M than in the last few years combined.
