I've been staying out 5 to 6 weeks of late, and taking 5 or 6 days off. No place to leave an empty that long. And I refuse to lock up an empty with a phony seal for that long either. Turns out they had me bobtail to the Spartanburg yard (42 miles from my house), and hook an empty. I did, sent the message, and....VIOLA! Pick up a loaded trailer.....AT THE SPARTANBURG YARD! But to be fair, I think this time it just so happened a driver was t-calling a load there and they were actually in the process of looking for a driver to finish the load when my situation came to their knowledge. So I'll cut 'em a little slack this time.
So...I'm delivering in Cincy, then picking up in North Vernon, IN and heading to Springfield, MO.

Oh, that and getting home when I'm supposed to. The next time home, in five weeks, is a must-be-there. We'll see if I get there with Crete's help...or without it. Either way, I'll be there. -
