"and another thing". I'm still not on track to make the money promised to me by trucking school. I'm definitely getting in touch with the people I went to "school" with. All of us are unhappy. Planning on trying to take legal action in some way, because I haven't made enough money to justify my government debt. Not even close. Not even half!

Smaggs, you really let this beat you down man. A year ago you had a good mind set and you have let it get to you. Now you are talking about law suits. Sorry to see it has gotten this way for you.

It's really no surprise. Marten is a garbage company just like Knight. Many people told you this at the beginning. I've told you all along there are many companies that will enable you to work during the week and go home on the weekends if that's what you desire, especially in Pennsylvania. Threatening your company with lawsuits on the internet will not make your paychecks increase.

I just think the fact this guy can't keep his stories together. 1 week he hasn't made under an 800 dollar check, and the next week he want's to sue the school. All these guys who look at these commercials and think after a 3 or 6 week class they are going to be rolling in the cash are only fooling themselves. OTR eats you up spits you out, and then a few years later you come crawling back for more. That's my story and I'm sticking too it
Good luck with that law suit. You might want to join in with all the one who sue the technical schools that promise you jobs in that field. My friend went to Heating and AC repair school. He now works at milliard, but not doing what he was trained for, but sweeping the floor's and taking out trash. I don't think Smaggs will like local or regional much because some of those require slip seat and getting in different trucks. Some folks are just not cut out for this, and staying in it longer is only going to make it worse. Hope he doesn't develop any health problems with all that anger that is built up. Have a good week and don't sweat the small stuff. -

that's why I don't eat blueberry muffins.
The lower pay was with Knight. Marten pay was good for a little while, but it has been tapering lower and lower. -
Where you going next>Swift?Dinomite Thanks this. -
#1 It isnt your truck....it's Martens (although I agree they shouldnt be in the sleeper)
#2 As far as pay goes, well if you keep doing the same thing and expecting different results well thats on YOU!! You chose to make a sideways move by going to Marten
#3 In alot of your videos you like to say what you should do, what you wanna do, what you could do but never do anything but sit and take it.Dinomite Thanks this. -
amazing...now you can see why the trucking industy will never pay more than what they do...the mentality of 90% of these truckers are absolutely mindboggling. They have plenty of people coming in weekly willing to drive a truck for less than minimum wage, yet, think they are really making good money...and most show their mentality on the road, one of the reasons these shippers and consignees don't give any respect to anyone. 'just amazing'

Okieboy there's the association called the ATA. These companies are constantly underbidding each other for loads. Lets make a deal we all treat are drivers crappy and make tons of money. They leave the industry because we treat them like crap, and they see that the 200 dollar a week job they have now isn't making the ends meet. So when they come back to us. We tell them to take a refresher course and start them back at the bottom. Ok guys lets go swim in our money.
This message is not supported by the Mega Carriers, and Members of the ATA, but hey was he there at our last meetingladyfire Thanks this.
