    i wonder who is worse,

someone like the first guy who locked up his tandems, or Mr Nut Driver, who will drive in the middle lane slower than traffic so HE can have a perfect driving record?

in all honesty i feel alot safer around the speed demons, i know they're gonna blow by me and vanish down the road.. everyone else seems to hang out in their little "safety bubble" and tap brakes every six seconds, and when they get really comfortable, they whip out the cell phone and start watching youTube. Stear in the rear view mirror and hold a conversation with an infant for miles (i've seen it) and the best yet, wait until the last second, the last 25yrds of the merger ramp before checking to see if there's a space for them to actually merge into..

those speed demons, are pretty much the exact opposite.

or maybe i just can relate to them because i'm a demon in my pickup when ever i'm home.

i'll give it to the NutDriver, i find it way more dangerous when people are doing something and not fully understanding the effect it has on the people around them.

kinda like a lady that acts like a dumb blond for the attention, and then the blond who really is just DUMB. I find the actual dumb blond to be way more annoying then the one who's just playing the part.

Ah... I don't think so. The smart blonde who is acting dumb is just getting you to reveal yourself before she commits to a relationship (however brief) that may not be to her advantage.

    any dummy knows that

but it takes brains to know that you dont do it to a point where you impede traffic and cause other problems

    knowledge and wisdom differ

knowledge is a collection of information, wisdom is having the sagacity to use it

    another way of saying it

knowledge is knowing tomato is a fruit
wisdom is knowing you dont put it in a fruit salad

You are correct, your opinion means nothing, because I do not seek your approval or make my choices to avoid your criticism.. Wouldn't it be a wonderfull world if truck drivers would stop acting like they know what they were talking about, when they don't.. Truck drivers should repeat this every day.
[h=3]“I don’t know.”[/h][h=3]“I haven’t really informed myself.”[/h][h=3]“I wish I knew more about that.”[/h]All truck drivers should do everyone a favour, stop being proud of ignorance. Read a book even. Learn a thing or two before speaking it as the truth. The world would be a better place.

this comes from a man who justifies him causing all types of traffic mayhem because some guy named "smith" said to do so

the funny thing about "i dont know" doesnt mean you will never know, all it means is that you have the ability to find out

unless of course you already think you know and no matter what anyone tells you, you have chosen to be ignorant and a lackey

i also would prefer a thousand of the first compared to NONE of Mr NutDriver

the first are not out on the road to cause havoc, just a man on a mission, and if slower traffic were to stay right, he would be out of your hair in about 10 seconds

whereas Mr Smith here, he is going to block traffic and keep you and fifty other drivers at his beck and call. completely going against any common sense, but enthralled in his moral superiority of giving everyone the finger as he sits content in following the "smith system" to the letter. everyone else behind him will be jockeying for that one open space to get around him, and if he has actually caused an accident, who cares? its not on his record

unfortunately a lot of companies are teaching the "rock in the stream" method. as a former student i can say that i was taught that. with that being said though that method also needs to be taught with common sense i.e not blocking the interstate. its hard to be a student and its scary most have never driven something that huge or had to deal with all that traffic and be as aware as they have to be now and realize all the responsibility of driving a semi, it takes awhile to wrap your head around that as well as learning how to drive all over again basically.

im not saying that he is totally innocent or that the trainer is innocent either, the student should have been paying attention to the slow lane signs and the trainer should have taught him that too although he cant be up all the time with the student and his drive shift too he was prob sleeping when it happened. so common sense needs to play a role in this with everyone involved in the scenario sad but true and its a dying thought process lol
