I like that advice skateboardman. Basically take any load that is both profitable and doesnt end in a bad area and dont look back. I would imagine you always will have a load then you re check the board and see a better load that if you just waited a little longer would have been yours. Those great loads will come here and there but in the mean time you have to run profitably and that is the key to success. Good luck wideload. I am enjoying following this thread

You got that right.. I am on a ND load right now.. Could not resist paid $3475.99 on 1300 miles, said 25000 and ended up only being 8000 # of stainless steel pipe. Getting a little over 8 mpg all the way up here.

 

i have a monster 1500lbs going to ft worth.

 

As long as it pays good then thats all that matters. 1500 lbs just means less spent in fuel which equals more in the pocket.

 

unfortunatly it cancelled on me. not super happy but i am trying to stay calm and figure out the system

 

Make sure you ride your coordinator for a truck ordered not used fee.

 

So you still dont have your first load?

 

Just being nosey but what kind of truck problems did they find or was it nit picking on small items??
