Yep, thats why I said someone can turn the switch back on. Seems to me that the middle of last week someone turned the freight switch off and forgot to turn it back on again.

I am sure it will, another week or two and everyone will have forgotten about the election for the most part and hopefully freight will be better. If not, then I am going to park my trailer at the shop and hook back onto a cow trailer.

I hate to arugue but was told by Mercer that the west coast board does in fact extend across New Mexico and south throgh Elpaso. The line is drawn at the Mountain time zone. Was told they used to do the same for Texas but no longer. And that was why this happens to guys in Elpaso.
So I deadheaded 600 miles to Waco for a load. Now heading to MD. for Monday.

i knew the bit of texas sitting under new mexico was the western board, my comment was toward when someone posted that folks east of that could run around and stay on the board.

the freight for us ebbs and flows out of el paso, i check the loadboard for certain areas even when i am not there, it gives me a general idea of freight flow certain times of the year. its a slow time for elpaso at the moment. and west texas is slow all the time, lol.

last trip i went to midland at a 2.67 a mile rate, was delivering on friday, so i booked a load out of houston for monday.
