So far it tracks well. The engine is rated at 450hp and has done a good job so far on I44.

Per Poly policy a driver is not eligible for a new truck until the one year mark. Plus there are other criteria they use to gauge a drives eligibility. However, I think my getting a new truck exactly at my one year anniversary was just coincidence aided by the timing of the arrival of new trucks.

Since yours has basicly the same engine mine does, does your truck have the stutter when you first try to go the first time after starting the engine? Almost every one here I talk to has the issue, but all our engines are spec'd the same..I think Poly's are a higher horsepower/torque engine.

No stutter...YET. That could change once the engine gets some miles and all the emmisions components aren't working optimally.

You may be in luck and they figured out what was causing it and the new models run fine. Mine started on day 2, and lately has gotten almost bad enough to worry me about it leaving me stranded

I certainly think it is a great place to work. The positives far out-weight the negatives. Love the respect given to us drivers. Treated like a person & not a number filling a seat. Above average pay. Liberal time off. These aspects, so far, have made up for the lack of competence in the truck shop. Which is the biggest negative this company has.

Going to have to give props to the Loves's TS in Ontario, OR. Really hot water and enough pressure to nearly knock you down in the shower the way it should be:) Rustled up a couple of left over steak and black bean burritos for a nice supper.

Perhaps I will be able to get unloaded tomorrow afternoon if I can get myself to roll out early in the morning. I think the Blaine place unloads until 1900 ish and I should be there well before that. Saving cabbage and snoqualmie for the daylight hours tomorrow and hopefully the weather will cooperate. Today was an absolutely beautiful drive up through one of my favorite thoroughfares through Nevada. These western drives sure suit me better than rolling up through DC, Baltimore and NJ on I-95:) I think I have been east of the Mississippi only 3-4 times in the last 6 months and that is certainly something I can deal with.
