Exactly right and outstanding it is. Not to worry JD, they're working on getting each of you six drivers a load that delivers 100 yards from your respective homes, for CHRISTmas, as you spell it correctly
God bless.
jdrentzjr Thanks this. -
I'm happy for you Chemster! I'm happy for your new truck, for the miles you turned in this week, and now get to look forward to a holiday week at home. What else can a truck driver ask for? God bless you and your family, and everyone at Poly who we thank for showing the rest of the trucking world how it should be done. Amen.Dinomite Thanks this.

Sounds like someone in the office deserves a big thank you card and lunch at the nearest good steakhouse...oh wait, it's Texas...they're all good.

Heading to Grand Prairie myself so far all has been working well, hoping they will have the run I will like to get me home for some long awaited time home for the holidays. Merry Christmas to you and your and all poly drivers and those here on the thread. Started Right after Thanksgiving and I have been able to go by the house every weekend in GA as a drop by for a 34 restart but now for some extended time .

Bah humbug
My blame truck died on me after an Engine Protect light came on along the darkened roadside of I-81 north of Harrisonburg, VA. Checked the fluids and they were all fine. Waited a few minutes and she started again. Did a little research on the internet and seems I may be able to bypass the problem if it happens again by unplugging the coolant sensor plug at least until I can make it back to the yard and switch trucks again. Knocked out a little over 600 miles today from northern Vermont and got about that many left tomorrow to Pell City, AL. Hoping things come together from there.

I was down on I-10 IN LOUSY ANNA, a few days ago and seen a ton stake bed pickup truck with shrink wraped pallets in the back? I think it was around Alexandria or in that general area. Could that have been a local factory truck? Or does poly run those smaller trucks in that area? The name on the truck was Poly trucking, just like the road trucks.

Poly's DOT #160955, if not that # it's not us.

If it is the coolant sensor, a paperclip in a "U" shape plugged into the end will keep the circut complete. Thus, no engine shut down and you can limp it home or to a repair shop.
