Yeah, I was at Dart for a while...in fact I was kind of like their poster child. I was the guy who would vigorously defend them whenever somebody would start their BS either here or at a truck stop. abuse from a disdainful fleet manager who liked to dictate to me when I started my day, where I stopped for the night, and even whether I stepped out of the truck when I was off duty. She was really passive aggressive, doing things like sending me loads when I was out of the truck and not calling me, then taking them away and calling to tell me the load got yanked...I finally got off her board, then my next DM misconstrued something I said and rather than making any attempt to clarify she calls her supervisor who then calls and excoriates me without giving me any opportunity to defend myself (they accused me of threatening a load...when the super called to bark at me--throwing in some deep personal insults in the process--I was SITTING IN THE DOCK, UNLOADING THE LOAD I WAS ACCUSED OF THREATENING) I was horrified when the accusation was made, and they took advantage of how speechless I was to bulldoze me. I gave it a couple of weeks top let myself cool down as I don't like making decisions when I am angry...then decided I should leave before they do something to my DAC. Anyway, I'm here at Celadon now and I'm gonna do it right. Dart is a successful company, and for good reason. They will continue to thrive without me. I left because I didn't want to work out am ongoing personal conflict with my management team.

Nah...downstairs, reception...really just a treadmill, bike, and elliptical in the little space off to the right...room for calisthenics. You have to get someone to let you in.

Learned from a friend's experience years ago...our terminal is fairly secure though. Still,I do a pretty good walkaround before I leave Laredo.

LOL, I had planned to leave the truck at the Stockton drop yard while I went to the Bay Area to visit relatives. Two other Crete drivers had personally told me that's where they parked their tractor on days off. I had sent over 10 qualcom messages over the last month informing Crete of this. Lo-and-behold now that I am finally here and t-called the trailer, dispatch tells me I am not allowed to park a tractor here. I then received a series of the most vicious and sarcastic bile from a true evil wench (I think the name was Darla). I could tell she actually took some kind of perverted pleasure in torturing drivers with her poison. I honestly don't see how she so brazenly gets away with it. Each time when I think I've seen it all, these goons blow my mind wide open.

Crete has always and will always treat their drivers like they don't matter

Every time I went down there (with another company), I would have to bring a slew of spare parts (light bulbs, glad hand rubbers, etc) because it seemed like anything not permanently riveted onto the trailer would be harvested.

You are wrong! There was a time drivers loved working for Crete, myself included. It is a shame things have changed so much over the last 7-10 years.

I dare her to start that with me...I will unleash the wrath of Snackbar via q/comm on her un-holy soul. She would curse the day either of us were ever born...all within company rules. Then I would start with her boss thru my fleet manager. McDonalds might hire her for the night shift bathroom mop duty. I would turn the tables and let it be known that the more she runs her mouth, the worse the negative image Crete gets as a company...and I have a really big mouth...and a large audience on one of the more popular internet forums...''so keep you mouth runnin' honey...you're boss' will be in touch"...then ignore her.

    Ralph4159 Thanks this.
