I'd like to know where there's a TS with 100's of empty spaces. Otherwise you're coming across as a whiny newb. Suck it up, eventually you'll get used to the noise.

 

A reefer on continuous is worse than a truck idling? Just because it's a reefer it's being rude?

 

I own a reefer company. We get 4-5 calls a week from RV'ers and drivers complaining. RV'ers arre told if they don't like it go to a KOA,drivers are told to have their company call so we can discuss how whiny they are. Lucky you don't have to listen to the units from the 70's.

 

Okay, you guys need to back in like real truckers. Self segregate by type of equipment. Everybody is required a uniform of Levis, chain wallets, peril snap shirts and ball caps. And the only thing you need to go to school for is to learn how to flash your lights and use a C.B.

 

I really can't believe this topic got another thread. Too funny that guys are going to gripe about a reefer running at a truck stop! You're friggin putt putt APU drives me nuts and at least my reefers exhaust is going up in the air and not pooling in around your truck and mine! I'm calling my congressman to get APU's banned because they iritate me! Cow trucks too, they smell bad! LOL, bunch of whiners!
