Thanks John, I'm just hoping the surging in liquid tanks won't give me to much trouble. It was funny, the driver that gave me a ride from Harrisburg said it was his first time up in the northeast, and he hoped it was his last time. They had 4 trucks that came up to Linden, NJ. 3 of them deadheaded all the way back to OK, and the other 1 got a load back in MA. Oh and u think the Volvos are so computer crazy, I think these new Peterbilts they have here are worse.

Time to go to work, after my wife and I go have lunch. Then it's off to Belle Glade to load my lettuce this afternoon. Tom will also be there loading his lettuce. We deliver in Jersey Monday morning early then I need to get to the yard for some write ups and a service. Be safe all, God Bless.

Christine will hit two years in June 2013. I know I slid in like a hand into a glove but I hired on June 2011.
So the curse seems to have abated .. At least this pick up went smooth
I slept at the first customer and was able to make it to Joseph City, Az for my 10. An easy 3 shifts to delivery.
I had the pleasure of startling Louie.
"Will they take this Monday?"
"What time?"
"Oh my god thirty."
"I'll call you back"
Not even two minutes later...
"You gotta be kidding...You just left there yesterday."
"I'll be there Sunday."
"I'll call you back"
Yeesh... I take three weeks off and have to break him in all over again.Last edited: Mar 4, 2013

Sitting at the terimal doing the "when will my truck be ready" shuffle with the shop. They took my 12 year old trailer into the trailer shop to put side skirts on it. Don't all trailers that won't see California need them? Anyway, I'm hoping to get my truck back by the end of the day. I don't have much to get fixed, but with our shop it's a total guessing game trying to find out when it will be done.
I guess tomorrow ought to be a pleasurable drive going south after I get my load put on through all the snow they are calling for. One of the issues I need fixed is my heater/ac fan isn't working. I'm getting tired of getting my heat from the sleeper. -
