Yup. I've seen milage decrease ever since the Link merger. Yet the brass told us what a great thing it would be, and we'd see better milage. Bass ackwards, obviously.
Not to mention that much of the Link trucks were so badly maintained over the years they've been scrapped. Now there's less trucks available overall. Same deal with the rust bucket Link trailers. And all this mess is trying to be sorted out by the terminal shops. The shops are so overburdened it takes 3-4 days just to get a PM done. What a freakin mess.
You nailed it. It's a lack of leadership. I just can't figure out if it's because they're complete and utter imbeciles or the biggest bunch of uncaring upper levels I've ever encountered. Either way it spells disaster.

Well, almost six months since the merger...who's still with us? Any of the Arnold drivers from before still hanging on? Any of the Link drivers feel like they're being purged?
I was doing great for the first little bit, but in the last few weeks, planners can't seem to remove their heads from their rears, and communication within the dispatch office seems to have dropped to near zero. Several company policies seem to be policy only when convenient. My resignation is in, and should be out of this nightmare shortly (as soon as this dang automatic transmission resets).
