It does have a reoccurring problem with the regen due to the trailer that backed into that area while you had it. Last year regen died in Milan, Nm (I40 mm 79.) After I delivered to weis (1900+ miles later) the engine got a little fussy about shifting between 9th and 10th on the way to the shop. It should have derated (lost power/speed) in NM and flat refused to run by TX.

Energizer bunny truck has also kept the fan hub intact when all but one bearing inside it had shattered; made it in and and back out of Volvo Fontana in 49 hrs; kept the A/C somewhat working with no refrigerant left in the system; and never (knocking on wood) stranded me anywhere. I love my lady Moose (with that snout it had to be a moose or a boxer and boxers do not have antlers.)

John, sorry to hear you are rabbit food troubled. It was always my least favorite item to haul when I worked for KLLM. Do you know exactly when the torture will end?

Can't end fast enough. You and everyone else that run California can have this. When I get absolutely no response from the shipper, reciever or dispatch about this total cluster ...., and basicly am told to deal with it, the only thing I wish for is that they somehow can figure out a way to send this whole joke overseas and put every miserable aspect of this crap out of work, and if it means I'm out of work when they do, then I'll be like everyone else and collect free handouts from the goverment.

I'm here waiting my turn to unload. Got here at 11am for my 11:30 appt. I don't need any work or service on my truck so I'll spend the night here in Bordentown then leave in the morning to go play in the snow in PA. I'm about over this winter now.

When I got to the consignee I immediately went into sleeper berth. Here's where I'm at so far. I've been sitting at the dock since 4pm and no sign of life. When I question dispatch about the problem of sitting for hours on end at both the pick up and delivery I'm told that's how they are. Can someone explain to me why these companies can't grow some balls and charge detention accordingly? Is it because they don't want to upset the customer? I guess my time isn't that important, I mean I don't have anywhere to be until 6am Wednesday right? Doesn't everyone want to spend their time off sitting at the truckstop up from the terminal for 2 days? Really, why would I want to be home, in my beautiful home, on the lake with a pool and enjoy my 2 Labs while cozying up next to my wife, just so I can say I delivered this lettuce on time and now am sitting like a stone statue. Jeezz.....grow some balls people. I'm getting to the point that maybe this job is not all it's cracked up to be, and change might be in order.

Reefer work can really suck sometimes. Hurry up and get there so you can sit around and wait for hours and hours on end. Companies that haul refrigerated freight really need to crack down on that sort of BS and tack surcharges onto the bill. But they never will.....:biggrin_25510:
