Flying j showers

The other day at the Pilot, some driver had tried to flush his underwear down the toilet. All the toilets were backed up and overflowing. The shower guy was in there soaking it all up with trucker towels. FYI

 

I love my Gold card from Petro and T/A, they have TV and radio in the showers and extra soft towels that are brand new.

 

Sometimes I go to that urinal just to read the ad. Who knows maybe one day something other than a Cobra 29, Astatic mic, air hose or 1500 watt inverter may be $5 off. Lol

 

1500 Watt inverter for 99.00 caught my zipper the other day!

 

Heck I can't say much. I couldn't get outta the bathroom fast enough a few weeks back once they started selling those flexzilla air hoses. Been wanting one for a while but pilot/flying j never had them and I wanted to use points instead of paying $49 elsewhere.

 

I used my points last month and picked up 4 load bars and some other things, paid a total of maybe 25.00 for near 150.00 worth of gear and goodies.

My tin foil ain't wrapped to tight to not use my J card or the Petro.

Have 55.00 on the Petro, T/A so far and waiting until it goes higher for a trade.

 

Same thing happened at White Pine, TN a few years back. Shut the entire system down for awhile.

 

You'd never have made it in the Old West, or the Middle Ages...Water used to be a luxury reserved for drinking and sustaining life. Those people seemed to be ok. I'm not advocating not showering, but I suppose you can keep clean as needed, not what a colorful ad on TV selling soap tells you.

 

i cant imagine actually having to pay for a shower
sometimes i get 50 gal of fuel then run the card again so my showers dont all expire

 

If you notice your PFJ receipts now will be showing along with coffee and combo clubs, Restaurant Rewards. So when you buy a Subway for example, they give you 10% off, then the next time you buy Subway, they apply that 10% off that purchase and the purchase you just bought is reduced 10% and is applied to next purchase.
