Hey Harley,
My pet pieve is people being condesending, down their nose, toward others who may not be as well educated as themselves. Maybe you can get a job teaching English? Does this make you feel smart? If you were that smart you would know it makes you look bad. Good comunicators dont have to talk over anyone elses head to be confident.

Hey Rebel,
I see you are from Macon. Me too. Are you with Roehl? I used to drive from Arrow, but it was about 10 years ago and I have not driven since. I still haved my CDL. I have thought about driving again, but with the latest middle east problems I wonder if it will affect the economy and I know fuel will skyrocket past $5 per gallon. -
Hey coolbreeze. Small world. Yep been with Roehl over a year and now run as a Lease Op.I did avg. As company driver. Bout 2100 miles a week. Economy is what it is but they are hiring always. Macon is a good location cause of ellenwood. I'm in North Macon. With being out so long u will have to go back to driving school. Roehl's school is great. Its just in WI. I went to TDI in forsyth. But roehls school is a lot cheaper.

I just got turned down from the hiring Committee from Roehl. Not really sure why. Clean driving record, no criminal history at all. I have been self employed for the past 15 years but sent in tax forms and I have great character references. I did come up positive on a drug test 15 years ago but I don't drink, smoke or drug at all.
As I filled out the Roehl Survey I had a lot of dichotomies with the questions as I often choose the answers pertaining to what I perceived as "safety issues" over working well with Roehl dispatchers, employees, management, enforcement officials and customers. I truly know the importance of teamwork, positive attitude and having a friendly and respectful workplace. But as I read the questions I felt that the "right" answer Roehl was looking for was the one leaning towards safety. I feel that many of the answers I choose on the survey may have left an impression that I did not see the importance of developing and maintaining a positive, professional, friendly environment.
Any thoughts? -
And I would like to add that i do NOT think Roehl is a bad or unfair company. I researched them fully and they seem great
