That would be very usefull as I have found street addresses that were a block or more off

That was my suggestion too in #5696

This is due to the way the mapset has the addresses in the DB. Usually they get the Lat/Long of the beginning and then the Lat/Long at the end. Basically divide numbers. My road shows an 800 # house, yet it only goes in the 200 range.

If you look at a road and try to figure out the addresses they are not equally divided.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    .
Ya right, forgot about that,I think the reason I forgot was last time I wanted to do this I couldnt get Google to cough up the lat/long info. Just figured it out, didn't have the lat/long option turned on in google DOH

That would be helpful, some the places I pick up or deliver might have one address or none at all. Some might have a physical address, but where I load, say a refinery complex, I may have to go miles into the complex and make several turns to get to where I load.

    Charger for TND 710?

Mine finally broke. The Rand Mc Nally site has them listed as back ordered.
Can I just run a universal or no?
Rather concerned about over or under-supplying this thing with the proper voltage.

    Thanks in advance.

We used a 12v to USB adapter rated at 1.0A and it powers/charges the TND 7" unit just fine.
All we needed was the adapter for the cig lighter and then a regular USB to Mini cord.
The OEM charger died...it got rather hot too.

    TND 710 battery replacement...

    - Anyone know if it's possible to replace the battery in one of these, and how to go about doing so? - I've done it a few times with other gps's that I've owned.

    Thanks again.

X2, I would like the ability to type in the physical address and hit save. EDIT: Or, the ability to do this. When you enter an address that the unit says does not exist, have an option pop up that says "route to closest known address".
