as for the pnw.....there are some big refer outfits in the west,,,the pnw has may trucking. gordon, central refrig....and i am sure i have left out a few....
its been so long ago that i drove, i was thinking our trucks were running 62 mph...but now giving it some thought,,,mabe it was 66 mph....still sucked though....
i hope the best for freymiller,,,i had some respect for them...don would come out into the yard and chat with the drivers...he wanted to know you....not sure about the kids
my trucking days are over with...i had gave some thought about it..but i like being home at nights.....but who knows......if things turn sour for me,,,i may be on the road some day...i know a x-driver who had to quit because of his health, he knows someone 80 yrs of age driving....thats cool someone that age can still hang in there -
FREYMILLER was a big hauler into Ontario Canada at 1 time when I drove for them , we ran the T600A flat top KWS at the time , then run into Quebec to get paper products and head back to the USA.

Forgot to check in. Went thru orientation and got my truck. A red 386 that was detailed with a new matress still in the plastic wrap. My truck did not come with a fridge so I talked to the shop and they installed one and are charging me fifty bucks a paycheck till it's paid off. $400 dollars total. They had it installed in less than an hour. And it's a legit fridge, not a plug in cooler. Even has a little freezer. Anything you need installed in the truck, the shop will install free of charge.
First load out of the yard saturday after orientation and after my fridge was put in was a 9 stop run to pa, upstate ny, long island, and mass. They had me pre-planned the day before my last drop in Boston. Delivered this morning, shot up to new hampshire and loaded back up to be in cordelle, ga for a Monday morning delivery. I don't like sitting and they aren't letting that happen so far. If any of you guys see trk 3315, it's me. Come over and say hi.
BTW, I found an electrical outlet under my bed with a green light. Is that an inverter? I was going to purchase one to have a microwave. I'm afraid of plugging it in and screwing something up. -
@the pope...if your truck is equipped with an apu then the plug is a standard household electrical outlet and can be used to power household items...
the pope Thanks this. -

i drove flatbeds for a couple of years, mostly local deliveries in phoenix or los angeles, steel deck....we also hauled for ameron pipe and concrete in phoenix , mostly wide loads from phoenix to la, and back again... also some lumber, etc...i did not like the tarping either,, pain in the rear....flatbedding has its plus,s and negatives.........one thing about refer, people will allways eat in a down ecomony, and a refer driver may be getting miles while others site during a bad economy..
Rugerfan and PuritanProwess Thank this.
