When you guys say out and back, how long are we talking? I guess my question would be how long out and how long in?

I'd say most loads are 500-600 miles out. I've been to Ohio and Phoenix a few times each. I really like those. Pick em up Monday deliver Wednesday and drive back home. Another week I went to the valley and back to Houston and reloaded for Nashville. Delivered that on Friday and returned home. In other words they are really good at utilizing our available time. ONE time I had to wait for 24 hours to reload and that load wasn't but 300 miles. I didn't say anything assuming it didnt work out like that often and it hasn't happened again..luckily.

Sounds like a great deal!

Can you guys talk about the trucks? Type, condition, idle restrictions, inverter restrictions, etc. Oh and what are they governed at?

Pete 386's, ranging from brand new to 300k with a few old ones that the drivers don't want to give up. Some of the newer ones are autos. Tri-pacs with of course no idle restrictions in the event of an APU problem provided you get it serviced asap. Speed is set to 65 and that's almost unbearable out west but it is what it is. Fuel at Loves first and TA as a secondary.

I worked for a contractor that had his trucks leased to Andrews but this was back in the late 80's and up till 95 when the comptroller had a bottle problem and get your pay right was a nightmare we got our pay direct from Andrews and so it was not contractor's fault . In my opinion they arte a good company despite the forked tongue safety manager Mark Bliss . tell you one thing then does another . but main reason I quit back in 1995 was pay roll issues get a good check this pay period only to realize that they had rated it wrong so next pay period they would take it back . After my electricity got cut off due to not what it should be check I let them have it.
