Welcome to the machine, it snorts and wheezes and misses from time to time, but it's the one we got.

Are you describing the company or the drivers that work for it???
Mus07_Grad Thanks this. -

waka wakaflue, Roknric and discodubber Thank this. -
Just wanted you to be aware that even though Stevens is paying for the room, it may still come out of your check.
When I was out with my trainer he went on home time for a weekend and Stevens put me up in a nice motel. We turned the receipt in the next time that he scanned trips but if I remember right that was after the cutoff for the week. They deducted the motel from my measly $350 leaving my wife with even less to try to pay bills with that week. It was reimbursed on the following check though but it makes it tough when you expect a full paycheck and they deduct something they said that they were paying for.Corporal_Clegg Thanks this. -
I really have nothing to say and There is no reason for this post beyond it is number 1500, which when you think about it is really nothing more than an arbitrary number that looks kind of cool because it has two zeros on the end. Beyond that there really is no significance which matches the reason for this post perfectly.
Ah yes... Symytry in the Universe.Corporal_Clegg, discodubber, Crazy_Aardvark and 1 other person Thank this. -
Having fun with this load so far...
Got my first Tropicana load. 3 drops: 1 in Kentucky, and 2 in Colorado.
I'm 81,100 lbs. And I just found a trailer tire blown off the rim...
This could be a long night. lol -

How to blow your reputation in 1 day......
Picked up a trailer at National in Dodge, pulling it down the road looking in the mirrors and that right side mirror just seems to be way off, maybe someone bumped it.....oh well pull it down the road gotta get it back on track even though I dont have hours to make the load. Get to my shut down point for the night and fiddle with the miror, OK mirror was perfectly fine, next deduction trailer is dog legging. Call road breakdown and get told to take it to a shop in St Louis for repair. OK so its been a while since i had to get a trailer repaired so now its my turn no biggie right? spent 6 hours while the tech aligned the front axel from god knows who before me hit what to throwit that far out of align but when your left steer is on the zipper and your trailer is tracking 1 1/2 off the fog line going straight down a regular lane there is a problem. Get into a narrow 11 foot construction lane and better watch it cuz you are tracking 2 lanes trying to keep it off the jersey barriers on the right LOL. So hours for day blown, ask for repower and get one thanks to the repower god. Repower shows up and tells me reefer is low on fuel. Look at it and low and behold its EMPTY. I start my pre trip and dangit if there arent 6 DOT bad tires and 2 that are almost there but not quite on the trailer we are talking BALD I menion it to other driver and get the usuall brush off. Up the rad to Effingham we go to get trailer tires. Now that I have spent all day trying to get 2 trailers fixed and its 11 PM I set off to run the load which now I am running 20 mins behind on my 70 to get it in let alone get out to a safe haven. So here we are hoping that nights finds a repower cuz I am up on 70 and dont wanna get this thing on the pike to try and repower it which I hear is darn near impossible let alone I will be out of hours tommorow if I run this all I can. Night dispatch was not pleased with me...oh did I mention I shut myself down with safety cuz I had been up all day fixing trailers and couldnt run down the road any more. No load is worth anyones life. Siighs another day I suppose today just wasnt mine. Gnight allCorporal_Clegg Thanks this. -
What do you mean by "on the pike"? If you are talking about the Indiana/Ohio turnpike stretch I have repowered along there, Perrysvile OH and Youngstown seem to be popular spots.
