Rolled in just before 19:00 with four delivery tickets (Dang Mondays!)
I finally found a good/decent music downloader for my Galaxy SIII.
Been getting the 10 or 11 songs from Operation:Mindcrime that I didn't have and got a music editor to number them. With headphones on it sounds GREAT!

Was raining yesterday morning so I took my time getting to KCMO. There were 2 other drivers there when I arrived at around 9am. They had been sitting there since 7:30, because it was sprinkling, and the city union workers (aka a-holes) would not allow them to dump.
I approached the loader operator and asked him to sign the BOL, he refused, saying he would when he gets ready to put the salt up. I asked how long that might be, he replied Don't know, it's wet. He also claimed the contract says we were not to even deliver if it has been raining. OMG, it must be against union rules for them to do their jobs. I think it's rule# 1, If you don't feel like working then stand around with your hands in your pockets playing pocket pool, as this jerk was doing. Oh and he appears to be in his 50s, and a hold over from the 70s, long grey hair, long grey scraggly beard.
Well the other 2 drivers said they were told by this same jerk, that it might be noon. According to our dispatcher, if it's not raining at the time, we get unloaded. One of the other drivers called him, and boy did that upset dispatcher, whom clearly didn't understand that the UAW (union a-hole workers) don't go along with that. So dispatch was upset with us, as we're suppose to do as the customer wants... WTH????Oh well we finally managed to get unloaded, about 20 mins later.
Went from there back to our local quarry, loaded rock, took that to Claflin, then back to Lyons and am loaded for a return encounter at KCMO. Hopefully it will not be raining or even sprinkling. I guess this jerk knows our trick, get the BOL signed and then the beds fly in the air regardless and it's their problem...I'm glad this contract is about done. The last place we delivered to in KCMO, just a few miles away, was a lot better, the people were not jerks.
