I only SERIOUSLY wanted to reach through the phone and choke the dispatcher once today (although there is ONE particular person at SDV that sends out stuff that flies the next day but simply HAS to be there before 6PM today. I've wasted so much breath telling dispatch that as long as the freight is there before 10AM it will fly.

The reason it irritated me so is that it was 4:46 and I was sitting at the truck stop parked and dreaming of unhooking the trailer and heading home.

So rolled in at 19:00 to a REALLY good chicken concoction that was great in a tortilla!!!

Dog gone TB, I was up there twice yesterday. Now I'm at the Petri in Salina, heading out in a few for Hays, with a load of ash.

I have a curiosity about these poor dead cows... are the parts of their corpses loaded in the trailer? how are they loaded? sealed? hanging from the ceiling? on hooks? on pallets? Just curious...

I am discovering a new reason for waiting this morning as I sit eagerly anticipating the test result on these wheat midds to see if they will be acceptable for bovine consumption.

Now I have learned when their bin is full and you're not empty, you wait until they make enough feed to make room.

Maybe this hourly gig isn't so bad. LOL

Usually ( and I stress usually they are "cold and boxed" and sealed.) On pallets for sanitary reasons and probably to maximize the weight that can be moved legally.
    See ? Rocks ?

I have never seen a "sanitary pallet"! However....any Wal Mart, CVS, even Quik Stops sell Sanitary Napkins!

OH....I am at my favorite T/A, Aurora, OR....waiting for a dispatch so I can be late and wait overnight for a p/u in Broadbent, OR! About 2/3 of the way to the coast from Roseberg....probably a good 4 to 4.5 hours from here! Whack-a-doodle dispatching/planning/brokers.....AIN'T TRUCKING FUN?????!!!!!!
