They really have changed the way they are doing things. Most of them are in denial because its the best job they ever had,I swear that forum is turning into the food network or Martha Stewart. Having been on both sides of that fence I can offer it up with no WM BS and I think I ruffle their nickers a bit. Its all in an effort to keep the material straight up.

If I had to rate my last three jobs it would be Teamster,Landstar,Walmart. Walmart was all about the schedule and getting my butt kissed on a regular basis. No one kisses my butt here at the star, unless I pull one of their 1.50/45k loads which is very rare.

Try Progressive. I was happy with them until Landstar said they would not take them because of a wording issue. The coverages were the same or appeared to be, it was just how Progressive worded it that Landstar did not like.

It seems to me that Landstar is in Kahoots with Gallagher..They seem to love and lust Gallagher out of Kansas City...

Then what are you crying about, eh?
If you have the tiger by the balls, why are you here crying that your employer is doing something you don't like?

Or, is it that you don't anything better to do?

I heard it said for years that some guys will just never be happy. Im here to say its a 100 true statement. I saw it as a Teamster,as a Walmart driver and now here at the star. I said before that my 17 years as a Teamster were by far the best years of my career, its also where I saw the most moaning and groaning about how bad it was,it really was very good but...

Landstar needs to get its CSA crap in order and so its shoving E logging on the BCO's. I think its coming anyway because DOT will mandate it no matter if its accurate or not. My gripe about the whole thing is I will go from paying nothing for paper logs to either buying a EOBR and pay a monthly fee for the service??
It is my opinion that EOBR are here and my feeling is that its going to put Landstar inline with every other big company. Good or bad we are going to be micro managed just like everyone else. Yippee!!
