Delivered my load at the Sears in Stockton, no MT for me to take to begin my MT gathering travels so I had to bobtail out, the DM im working with dispatched me to pick up 4 mt's in Oakland and drop at the lot UPS rented out at the Sacramento Airport, dispatch gave me a fuel stop at Ripon so I stopped here and got fuel then parked for the night, only spots left for trailers are the idleairs so good thing I was bobtailed. I had 3 hours on my clock and figured it would not be enough to get to Oakland for a MT and get back so will begin in the morning, he said im dispatched for 4 but if I can do more he will add and fix all the miles and add dispatches on Monday. Then Monday morning I am picking up a tcalled load going to San Leandro for a live unload and then taking that trailer to the UPS lot. He said by then he should have a few more places with MT's for me. There is one other driver doing it as well who has gathered 3/30 so far.

    I've paid $40 - 4 times.

And keeping the key on your chain might not help if you don't turn off the truck and take the keys when you unhook.
I do it that way now, but it is because I lost my other key. It fell out of the lock as I was walking back to the cab. Now, I have to take the key out of the ignition to unlock it.

But just today I dropped a trailer, and I was about to pull away when I remembered that my lock was still on the trailer.

    I'm at a J on I-81 in VA, somewhere. Oh, x77.
Delivering tomorrow in PA, then heading for a Monday delivery in KY.

Hopefully I'll be routed through Hurricane, WV so I can pick up some tobacco.
Precious few places that one can find the right pipe tobacco OTR. I only know of 4 or 5 places.

4 times wow, guess I dont have to feel too bad, when i took mine off today I just stuck it in my pocket. Yeah the idea was to put the key on the ignition and shut it off and take the key to unhook, of course for that to also work I would have to stop carrying the other in my pocket.

I never forgot my lock but I did forget my LED trailer tail lights on one old time T trailer. What I usually do is pop in my own LED taillights then swap them back at the final, but that time I was in a hurry and totally forgot about it. It's OK I have the trailer number burned into my memory and always on the lookout for it, just hopefully some other driver didn't pop out the LED's for him/herself.

Picked up early this AM in southeast IL going to ATL anytime delivery before Monday midnite. Taking it California slow with this heavy brick, doing OK at 7.7 MPGs

Hayti, MO again. Today sent a pplan, and keep in mind, my PTA is set for 10/7. It was to pu today at 2200 in Lima, OH and del in Pineville, LA at 2230 on 9/29. I do not del this load until 1000 on the 30th. Someone is not doing their job, and that is for sure. Weekend planners out of Memphis. Surprised that they did not try and send it back to me with planners comments, pu when mt on Monday and T-call in Cols. That would have gotten a big heck no. Imagine how many trucks are sitting right now mt in Cols or that area waiting for a load.
