Well... I-80 is open now BUT no light trailers... and I have only 6,000 lbs... Weather says that there will be strong winds all day today in this area... I was very tempted to leave anyway.... but a lady friend of mine (also trucker) called me and advised me no to do it. If (heaven forbid) I have an accident, I will get a ticket for disobeying the law and will be fired and will not be able to get another trucking job... if not worse So... I may "lose" one day sitting here, if that's the case... but better be "safe" than sorry.... and this load can be dlverd on Tuesday instead of Monday as dsp and broker said...

Thought I was dropping the load in Stockton, so I topped off the tanks! Next plan was for one of those <10k loads up to OR.

Wasn't it so nice of them to tell me after the fact that I will be delivering the load in Bakersfield, then picking up another load (5k) in Bakersfield going to Kent, WA.

Luckily there are no scales between Sac and Bakersfield since my gross is now 80,660! But it is one really smooth ride with that weight!!!!

 

North 40 n the volunteer--Philly mkt sometime tomorrow-to one of my favorite jittery customers--whatever--I have less than no ambition after yesterday--beyond a doubt the dumbest ####### day I've had in I don't know how long--told me jittery this am I was still in Tx--just to #### w/him--even his panicking didn't get me going--so just gonna ride today out--see how many times he calls--
Either way tommorow b ok he never gets in before 3pm on Sunday & ill b in his door by then--that'll fire em up and perk me up! Lol
