Another day. Will Roland be there? Or will he be too hungover to be there?
Will the check be good at the truckstop or at the bank?
Wish I had a clue where to bail out to.......

I hear ya', Logan ! While I totally agree with what Windsmith put in his post, the reality is nowhere close to what it should be.
    Eloquently put, Otter !

The rookie has his head in a dark, smelly, warm place. This is a service industry, and acting like a horse's patootie in the name of your own personal comfort doesn't do anything to further the service to the customer. Freight is not created to do us a favor. While we may not like the situation that develops concerning certain customers, locations, etc... we are there to perform a service, and the paying customer could give a rat's arse about anything else.

In that case, enjoy life flippin' burgers. Unfortunately, the day IS coming... :biggrin_25510:

Back at the Trexler Truck Rodeo 'n squeeze 'em into much too small parkin' spaces evening event! Going to Connecticut with a load of candy later on...

Hey Eaton, about your boss praising the elog sticker.... the same happens with my co. They say DOT doesn't mess with our elogs cause they know how impossible it is to make changes with Peoplenet... :biggrin_2552: I think that's why co. doesn't want to change to Qualcom.... When I was using Qualcom, several times I had officers stepping outside my door to ask me to show them my hrs... and that was quite easy...

Hey, if DOT asks you to send them your hrs info, click on "eDriverlogs", then click on "Transmit Logs" and you will be able to either enter DOT fax number or email address. I guess your elog has that capability, right? I found out mine does.. and my co. didn't even know.
Hey, can you edit anything on yours?
A driver today told me that every time Peoplenet upgrades this thing, it gets slower.... She hopes they won't upgrade it again... cause slower than this....:biggrin_25521:

Well first day using the elogs didn't go so well. Luckily, they're still going on our paperlogs. Thought I put myself driving when I left the yard, however when I arrived at Great Bend, some 3 hrs later, I discovered that I've been on-duty, not driving. Oh well.

Rocks, yep I noticed that button/icon on mine, and wondered what it was for. Now I know, thanks for the tip.

Spent 3 hrs with a broom and shovel, sweeping and scraping the fly-ash out of my trailer today. By the time I got it cleaned out, back to Lyons and loaded with salt, I would not make it to KCMO before they closed. So I parked at the yard and home I went.

Eaton.... that's weird... that elog didn't put you on driving for those 3 hrs... any elog that I know, Peoplenet or Qualcom will automatically change to driving after driving for a while...
