You will find that that is the norm at Mercer, not the exception. from coordinators and everyone else in Louisville to the drivers, I have never met a better quality of people in this industry.

It is the norm, but I've also met the few bad apples here. Sadly was one guy that had been here over a century.
There is also a rumor about the big houses don't talk to others. I'm here to tell it's not true. It's just some of us dont' run with cb on.

Sadly I dont run with the cb on anymore either. Too many idiots on there nowadays. I do turn it on when running out west because there is less traffic on it in the fly over states. You are right too about the big house drivers as well. I pulled into the Ta in North Bend and two of them came over and invited me to go in and eat with them. They knew I was a newbie of course from my truck number. I'm still learning the system so the money hasnt reached its full potential but I am seeing what it can be. My experience so far has been the best I have had since I started trucking and that has nothing to do with the money. For me it's all about the people.

It's was because of the quality of people, that brought me back here from Old Dominion.

Not a good day in paradise. Crossed into WY on I-80 and made it to the TA in Fort Bridger. The old girl lost power and is blowing oil out of the right side of the head. Got a pretty good bit of blow by too. Tow truck is on the way to take it to Cat in Rock Springs. This is going to hurt. :biggrin_25513:

    Hey folks...

What type of used trailer, (brand, model and year) does Mercer lease and how much should I expect them to charge for it. Also what does the trailer weigh???

And what if there's a problem with the trailer, like it's severely sagging when fully loaded, is there any recourse???

    Thanks Flightline, will do.
Checked the oil and it's low from the leak, but it looks good. No water or fuel in it. The jake quit working and it has a hell of a miss so i'm thinking maybe a rocker arm and a valve went. Wouldn't be the first time that has happened to it. The blow by has me worried though. I guess i'll find out monday morning.

    Travelinman Thanks this.
