    I am waiting to hear back from Schneider about running a dedicated Walmart account out of Gordonsville, VA. The route runs VA, WV, PA , NC , MD and DE. I would like to hear of experience with this type of work.

    Driving Delaware and Maryland (as it's usually Baltimore) can really suck unless you're getting paid by the hour. Unreasonable traffic and delays. I avoid Baltimore like the plague. Rather do NYC.

    Werner has the family dollar account where you unload your trl since you like physical work.But many of the stores are tight to get into and backing is no easy task.

    Getting feet wet first is important - I'd check what cranky Yankee suggested above - sounds good.

    Failing that, maverick. Forget Werner and Schneider.

    I am planning on joining Maverick but have waited 3 weeks for a spot in orientation for the Glass division. I don't want to pass up this opportunity with Maverick but don't know how much longer I can wait.

    I applied to both Maverick and TMC. I was told that I was turned down by TMC. Not sure why , no accidents ever , 1 ticket in personal vehicle in October 2011. 19 years at my last company and no criminal record ever. I am glad to be accepted to Maverick but no idea why TMC passed.

    I would look into DOT foods if your not scared of a lil work. I started 12/30 last year and even after 2 months of training pay ill still clear over $55k.
