    I think crb covered it.
Driver A goes into sleeper berth for 10 while driver B drives.
Driver A and B then sit for 24 hours. Driver A now has had a 34 hour reset and drives for 10 hours, giving Driver B a 34 reset also.

The 1am-5am provision, as well as the 168 hour provision must also be covered for the above to qualify.

And all this has to fit around whatever loads or freight you're on. We generally run like hell and head back home when the hours are getting low - and stay at the house for at least 48 hours, every 5-6 days, that way the 168 hour rule doesn't trip us up either. Easy enough with LTL, a bit harder with other freight that has deadlines and appointments.

I dont know if its true, but my company said you cant reset whiel the truck is moving regardless of who is driving and thus the full 34 must be stopped/

Tax accountant doesn't help when you make that kind of money as company drivers, trust me!!!

Your company may not want you taking a "rolling" reset, but it is NOT illegal. Company can go beyond FMCSA if they wish. I have seen nothing in the rules that reads the truck must be stopped for you to get a 34 hr reset, as long as you are not driving, or on duty not driving for 34 hrs, meet 2 1-5 a.m. segments, and have at least 168 hrs since your last you can do a combo of off duty/sleeper berth to qualify for your 34 hr break.

Until you get caught..... Best bet is to start some kind of business so you have more right offs i.e. rentals, mlm products, etc.

Unfortunately my wife's MK business never really took off and we suffered a loss for a couple years.
